In Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals, Michael Jordan was suffering from flu-like symptoms as he prepared to play the Utah Jazz. Jordan played through the sickness and had one of the most memorable games of his career as he scored 38 points to lead the Bulls to a 90-88 win.
Fast forward to 2022, 15 years after that memorable performance, [autotag]Harold Perkins[/autotag] was fighting an illness as LSU prepared to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks in a game that could help the Tigers secure a spot in the SEC title game for the first time since 2019.
Before kickoff, Perkins had a ‘Willie Beamin’ moment as he threw up (in the locker room, not the huddle). That didn’t slow him down any as Perkins tied the school record of four sacks in one ballgame and became the first power-five player since Chase Young to have four sacks and two forced fumbles in one game.
Brian Kelly said Perkins got sick and through up before the game and so Kelly said “Hey MJ threw up before his greatest game” and he goes “Who’s MJ?” #LSU

I am not sure if it had to do with the sickness, but when [autotag]Brian Kelly[/autotag] made an MJ flu game comparison, Perkins answered “Who’s MJ?”
MJ was the greatest basketball player of all time. Perkins may become one of the greatest LSU linebackers of all time.
