Good Morning Football consensus is Raiders not most likely to finish 4th in AFC West

Good Morning Football panel makes compelling case why Raiders will NOT finish last AFC West

No question the AFC West is setting up to be the most competitive division in football next season. All four teams figure to be talented and could find themselves all four among the top teams in the league. The question is how they will fare against each other.

Someone has to come out on top and someone has to finish last in the division. By most accounts thus far, the Raiders seem to be the popular choice to finish behind the other three.

Which, if only by the law of probability, makes you figure that won’t happen.

When the folks at Good Morning Football broached the subject, they seemed to take that angle. It’s clear they know most have the Raiders picked last, so each made a case for why they think that won’t happen.

Right off the top, they eliminated the Chiefs as an option, saying, essentially, there is no chance they finish last.

Three hosts on the panel all went with the Broncos to finish last. Citing Russell Wilson as an unknown switching teams and not having the same weapons as the other AFC West teams.

Peter Schraeger was torn between the Broncos and the Chargers to finish last, saying everyone is crowning the Chargers, but he needs to see it first. He finished by saying how sickening it was to try and predict this considering how great this division is from top to bottom.

This doesn’t mean they’re picking the Raiders to be second in the division, however. It just means they seem more stable, adding the likes of Davante Adams and Chandler Jones to a team that made the playoffs last season.
