Giants pass on Cardinals’ Adrian Wilson, Quentin Harris for GM job

The Giants are finalizing a deal with Bills assistant GM Joe Schoen. They have told Wilson and Harris they are no longer under consideration.

The New York Giants had interest in two of the Arizona Cardinals’ top front-office VPs and interviewed both Adrian Wilson and Quentin Harris. However, neither will be the Giants’ next general manager, replacing the retired Dave Gettleman.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Giants are finalizing a deal to make Joe Schoen, currently the assistant general manager for the Buffalo Bills, their new GM. They have told the other candidates, including Wilson and Harris, they are no longer under consideration.

Both Wilson and Harris work directly with Cardinals GM Steve Keim as the vice presidents of pro personnel (Wilson) and player personnel (Harris).

Both were given the title of VP last year.

So far, the Giants are the only reported team who has requested an interview with either Wilson or Harris.
