Giants’ Daniel Jones a 66-1 shot to win 2020 NFL MVP

New York Giants QB Daniel Jones has been given 66-1 odds to win the 2020 NFL MVP courtesy of BetMGM.

The New York Giants have only produced two NFL MVPs since the award was instituted in 1961: Y.A. Tittle in 1962 and Lawrence Taylor in 1986.

Oddsmakers are predicting they won’t be crowning one in 2020, either.

In the recent odds listed by BetMGM, the Giants have only one player — quarterback Daniel Jones — with any odds on him to win the award.

Jones is currently 66-1 to win the MVP, which means they’re giving him little to no shot at winning. A $100 wager would yield you $6600 should he win. If you have a Benjamin burning a hole in your pocket, it could be worth a risk.

For the record, Jones has the same odds as two players who aren’t even in the league yet in Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa. Saquon Barkley and Sam Darnold are both listed at 100-1.

Here’s the list of all possibilities and their current odds:
