Georgia has the nation’s third-ranked class for the 2023 recruiting cycle, with three prospects committed to the G.
Georgia has consistently finished with a top-five class since Kirby Smart took over in 2016 and will look to do so again in both 2022 and 2023.
Kirby Smart and UGA received good news on Thursday via Twitter when 2023 five-star prospects Richard Young and Malik Bryant confirmed they plan to visit UGA on June 1.
Young, who originally tweeted his plans to visit UGA two weeks ago, is a five-star running back out of Leigh Acres, Florida. He ranks as the nation’s No. 18 overall player and the top-ranked ball carrier.
Bryant, who confirmed Thursday that he’ll visit Athens with Young, plays outside linebacker for IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
Bryant also ranks as a five-star, and, per 247Sports, he is the nation’s 13th-ranked player in the class of 2023 and third-best player in Florida.
The 6-foot-3 Orlando native was a MaxPreps sophomore all-American and was a starter on IMG Academy’s 8-0 team that finished No. 1 in the MaxPreps Xcellent Top-25.
This will be both Young and Bryant’s first visit after the NCAA’s dead period comes to a close on June 1, according to Dawgs247.
