No. 29 Tennessee lost its third consecutive Southeastern Conference dual match Saturday.
The Lady Vols (8-5, 2-3 SEC) were shut out by No. 15 Georgia, 4-0, at Barksdale Stadium.
In singles, the Bulldogs (9-2, 5-0 SEC) earned three singles wins.
Georgia’s Mell Reasco, the No. 25 player in the nation, defeated No. 45 Tenika McGriffin, 7-5, 6-1, at the No. 2 rung of the singles ladder.
At No. 3 singles, Dasha Vidmanova, ranked 113th, downed Tennessee’s Elza Tomase, the No. 73 player in the country, 7-5, 6-3.
In the other completed singles match at No. 5, No. 71 Meg Kowalski outlasted Daria Kuczer, 6-2, 7-5.
The Bulldogs claimed the doubles point in the match as they swept the two completed matches.
