The Brooklyn Nets start the first half of a back-to-back on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. when they take on the red-hot Jazz at Barclays Center.
Utah has won nine in a row, though they’ve largely played non-playoff teams throughout their stretch. However, the Jazz’s most impressive win throughout this run did come against one of the best teams in the NBA, the Los Angeles Clippers — who had both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in the matchup.
The Jazz have put this winning streak together with point guard Michael Conley, who has been dealing with a left hamstring issue. Kyrie Irving and Spencer Dinwiddie won’t get a look at Utah’s point guard on Tuesday, either. The Jazz have ruled him out.
The Nets will also be without one of their important pieces. Garrett Temple has been managing a right knee contusion that has forced him to miss a pair of games in the last week-plus. It turns out the veteran’s knee is bothering him again. He has been ruled out for Tuesday.
