Auburn lost another talented defensive tackle to the transfer portal on Thursday when Marquis Robinson entered the portal. The freshman became the latest Auburn defensive lineman to enter the portal and potentially leave the program.
Robinson was the only true freshman to see action on the defensive side of the ball, playing in the loss to Georgia. The former four-star recruit is the eighth Auburn defensive lineman to enter the portal, joining interior lineman Lee Hunter, J.J. Pegues, Ian Matthews, Dre Butler, Daniel Foster-Allen and edge players Romello Height and Caleb Johnson.
Despite the losses, Auburn has added several impact players along the defensive line this season, No. 1 overall JUCO Jeffrey M’ba and Oregon transfer Jayson Jones.
