Four-star tight end Benji Gosnell commits to Ohio State for 2022 class

2022 four-star tight end commits to Ohio State.

The Ohio State recruiting class of 2022 got a boost on Wednesday when four-star tight end Benji Gosnell made a verbal commitment to the Buckeyes. Gosnell is ranked the No. 11 tight end in the nation by 247 Sports.

Gosnell hasn’t yet been to Columbus for an official visit but has had plenty of virtual tours and meetings. He said after watching the Buckeyes beat Penn State this past Saturday helped cement his decision.

“I saw Jeremy Ruckert and Luke Ferrell play on Saturday and it was the nail in the coffin, I’m going there,” Gosnell said.
