Former Washington LB Edefuan Ulofoshio makes the Buffalo Bills roster

Edefuan Ulofoshio has made the Buffalo Bills 53-man roster.

Edefuan Ulofoshio entertained coaches and scouts at the NFL combine last spring with his story of outrunning a moose growing up in Alaska while waiting for the school bus.

While moose probably aren’t prevalent in Buffalo, New York, and his story isn’t why he made the Bills’ 53-man roster, his athletic ability has been on display throughout training camp since impressing scouts and coaching staffs from around the league at the NFL combine where he proved to be one of the most athletic linebackers in the draft.

His combination of football and IQ are just a few of the reasons the Bills selected him with the No. 160 pick in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL draft.

The Bills suffered a big blow to their defense when linebacker Matt Milano tore his bicep during practice, which required surgery to repair and will keep him out until at least December. And despite Ulofoshio having to deal with a rib injury this training camp, he was able to take advantage of the opportunity and secure his spot on the team’s final roster.

Not only does he add depth to the linebacker corps, but he should also be a vital part of the special teams unit. Second-year linebacker Dorian Williams appears to have secured the starting job alongside Terrell Bernard, but his play from last season shows that there should be an opportunity for Ulofoshio to rise up the depth chart quickly during his rookie season.
