Former Texas A&M 5-star DL will take several SEC visits

Texas A&M transfer DL Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy could stay in the SEC

Texas A&M’s transfer portal departures aren’t surprising, as the Aggies have lost 19 players, and outside of offensive linemen Kam Dewberry and TJ Shanahan, none of said departures are surprising.

However, former five-star defensive lineman Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy’s addition to the portal surprised most Aggie fans, who felt he would finally see the field in 2025 after Nic Scourton and Shemar Stewart entered the 2025 NFL Draft.

Despite his high ranking coming out of high school, Brownlow-Dindy could never climb up the depth chart under Jimbo Fisher or Mike Elko’s regime, but that doesn’t mean a new environment and coaching staff will be able to get the best out of his abilities.

This week, a list of notable programs has reached out. The sophomore is already visiting Vanderbilt and will stay in Tennessee until Friday. Starting Monday, Dec. 16, he will head to South Carolina to see the Gamecocks.

According to On3, Alabama and North Carolina are also working to set up a visit, which is very interesting as the Tarheels just hired Hall of Fame coach Bill Belichick as the program’s newest head coach.
