Five-star WR Dakorien Moore sets three official visits after LSU decommitment

These three teams will have one more shot at landing the top WR in the 2025 class.

The news is coming fast and furious when it comes to former LSU commit, Dakorien Moore who recently announced that he would back off of his commitment.

The five-star wide receiver from Duncanville, Texas, originally committed to the Tigers on Aug. 12, 2023. Less than a year later, the talented pass catcher has re-opened his options. Well sort of. As Moore tweeted out, he wouldn’t be taking any additional recruiting offers and he is down to his final three with LSU getting left out of the running.

Per Mike Roach of 247Sports, Moore will visit the Ohio State Buckeyes on May 31, the Texas Longhorns on Jun. 14, and the Oregon Ducks on Jun. 21 before making his decision.

Moore is ranked as the No. 3 player in the 2025 recruiting class and No. 1 wide receiver. Most believe that he will ultimately stay home and commit to the Longhorns and head coach Steve Sarkisian. But I wouldn’t rule out Ryan Day and the Buckeyes or Dan Lanning and the Ducks just yet.

Currently the Buckeyes have the No. 2 class according to 247Sports with three five-star commits already. The Ducks have the No. 17 class with one five-star commit. The Longhorns are No. 22 but adding Moore would likely kick things up for the Burnt Orange.
