By all accounts, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is doing just fine on his ahead-of-schedule rehab as he aims to take the field in Week 1 next season.

But more confirmation of that never hurt anyone, right?

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler just went on SportsCenter on Saturday (h/t Bleacher Report’s Adam Wells) and said that Burrow has “cleared pretty much every hurdle” in his rehab to date.

Now that’s obviously a predictable bit of reporting given what we’ve seen from Burrow so far during practices. Think, the fact he went perfect in a recent 7-on-7 session and showed off some serious mobility while rolling out of the pocket.

Still, it never hurts to hear that one of the league’s most promising passers is right where he needs to be in his rehab process so far.

As for Burrow, he’s hinted he wouldn’t mind some preseason reps. But that’s probably getting ahead of things in June — For now, the big goal remains Week 1.
