Future Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade has high hopes for the young duo of Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro after stating he believes they can be special over the next decade for the Miami Heat.
Adebayo and Herro have each played a key role in helping the Heat advance to the NBA Finals. Adebayo, who was named an All-Star for the first time this season, averaged a team-high 21.8 points and 11 rebounds in the series versus the Boston Celtics while Herro averaged 19.2 points, which was third-best on the team.
The two players combined to score 21 points in the fourth quarter of Game 6 on Sunday to lead the Heat to victory and each had a number of highlight-worthy plays. Their performance offered a glimpse of the future in South Beach as Wade chimed in afterward on social media to offer his take on the two players.

The expectations for Adebayo and Herro are also high heading into the NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers. Adebayo enters the series with the fourth-highest odds of winning the NBA Finals MVP award while Herro is sixth, according to BetMGM.
The Heat are just the third team since 1984 to make the NBA Finals seeded fifth or lower and will not be favorites to beat the Lakers. However, Miami has consistently been the underdog this season and it is a role the team seems to enjoy playing.
With Adebayo and Herro in the picture, along with the rest of the roster, the Heat may very well have a chance…
Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Heat and Lakers is set to tip-off Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
