The 2021 NFL season hasn’t even kicked off yet, but the draft coverage apparatus is already turning its attention to next offseason. Luke Easterling of Draft Wire published his latest 2022 three-round mock draft on Wednesday, and he predicts that the Jacksonville Jaguars will heavily address the defense once again.
That was a focus this offseason, as the team signed a number of quality defensive free agents like safety Rayshawn Jenkins, cornerback Shaquill Griffin, and defensive end Roy Robertson-Harris. Though the team’s first-round picks in the draft were both used on offense, the Jags took three defenders in the second and third rounds.
