Dooley’s Dozen: How Florida football can go undefeated this season

Sure, it seems like a pipe dream, but here is a look at what it would take for the Gators to go undefeated in 2022.

Let’s face it, if I knew the result of every game Florida will play in football this season, I would not only head to Vegas, but I also would be in a Platinum Penthouse Suite there watching the money roll in.

But I don’t gamble because we all know that one of the great things about a college football season is that it’s unscripted and unpredictable. And there is no gambling at Bushwood.

What I do know is Florida has had three undefeated regular seasons (the SEC title game is the postseason in my opinion): 1911 at 5-0-1, 1995 at 11-0 and 2009 at 12-0.

The last two of those seasons did not end well with the Nebraska debacle and the loss to Alabama that led to [autotag]Urban Meyer[/autotag]’s bizarre flip-flop. However, the 1911 team finished with a 21-0 win over College of Charleston. So, there’s that.

Anyway, all I can tell you is what Florida has to do to win every game in the latest Dooley’s Dozen. Remember it can do these things and still lose some of these games, but these are the things I would stress.
