Colts to face Joe Burrow-less Bengals in Week 14

Joe Burrow is done for the year.

The Indianapolis Colts are going through the bye week preparing to make a run at a playoff spot during the second half of the season, and some breaking news came through Friday that will impact one of their upcoming matchups.

During Thursday night’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow suffered a season-ending wrist injury, head coach Zac Taylor announced Friday.

The Colts are set to play the Bengals in Week 14 on Dec. 10 at 1:00 p.m. ET in Cincinnati.

With the Thursday night loss, the Bengals fell to 5-5 and likely will be trending downward for the remainder of the season. As it stands, rookie Jake Browning appears to be in line to start unless a veteran is signed from free agency.

The Colts will be ready to roll coming out of the bye week looking to fight for a playoff spot, and this injury certainly will have an impact for the Week 14 game in Cincinnati.
