Indianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich has begun earning a reputation as one of the best coaches in the NFL as he now enters his fourth season in this position.

Some of that is reflected in the latest odds from BetMGM, who have Reich sitting with 18/1 odds to win the 2021 Coach of the Year award. Those odds are tied for the seventh-highest in the NFL.

In Reich’s three seasons, the Colts have made two playoff appearances and have a wild-card win over the Houston Texans (2018). The Colts have a 28-20 record under Reich with two of their seasons having finished with 11 wins.

This will be another interesting year for Reich and the Colts. After acquiring Carson Wentz from the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason, Reich will be leading his fourth different starting quarterback in as many years.

Much of the season will come down to what Wentz becomes under Reich. If he returns to form, the Colts have a strong enough roster to make a run in the playoffs. If he continues on the path of 2020, the Colts will be in a bit of trouble.

Regardless, Reich has proven he’s the right man for the job and even though he’s putting a lot on the line with Wentz, he has solid odds to be the 2021 Coach of the Year.
