Colts are now 9.5-point favorites over Texans in Week 13

The Colts are even bigger favorites in Week 13 over the Texans.

The Indianapolis Colts (6-6) are now even bigger favorites over the Houston Texans (2-9) than they were when the week opened ahead of the divisional matchup at NRG Stadium.

As the Colts opened the week as 8.5-point favorites, the spread moved more into their favor as the week has gone along. It may have to do with the fact that the injury report is getting healthier with Quenton Nelson and Darius Leonard looking like they are good to go.

Regardless, here are the updated betting odds for the matchup entering the weekend, per Tipico Sportsbook:

Spread Moneyline Total Points
Indianapolis Colts (6-6) -9.5 -500 O 44.5
-112
Houston Texans (2-9) +9.5 +360 U 44.5
-108

While the spread and moneyline both moved in favor of the Colts since the week opened, the total for the game was lowered by a full point.

The Colts have been one of the hottest teams in the NFL over the last two months, especially on the offensive side of the ball. They are 5-2 in their last seven games while averaging 31.6 points since Week 4 and have hit the 30-point mark in six of their last seven games. The Colts also rank eighth in total DVOA.

The Texans are looking forward to having one of the top picks in the 2022 NFL draft while their rebuild gets underway.

While the Colts are heavy favorites this week, this is a game they can’t overlook. With the bye week coming up, the Colts have to win this game before the final stretch of games determines their season.
