Colts activate LB Matthew Adams from reserve/COVID-19 list

Matthew Adams is back on the active roster.

The Indianapolis Colts activated linebacker Matthew Adams from the reserve/COVID-19 list, per the league’s transaction wire.

Adams was placed on the list last week before the Colts’ Week 10 game against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday Night Football. He didn’t test positive for the virus but was a high-risk close contact to someone outside the facility that tested positive.

This forced the Colts to put him on the reserve list and forced him to miss the 34-17 win over the Titans. In his place, the Colts elevated defensive end Cassius Marsh to the active roster from the practice squad.

But now, Adams is back on the active roster and should be available to play against the Green Bay Packers in Week 11.
