No. 160 | Dalton Keene | TE | Virginia Tech

When looking at the tight end position, which is an underrated need for the Colts, there are some factors to consider. They already have Jack Doyle as their starter while Mo Alie-Cox continues to develop his game. With their skill sets, the Colts really need to add a move tight end.

Keene needs work, and he’s probably not going to offer a whole lot in terms of blocking. But his athletic profile and ability to create after the catch are two important traits the Colts should be intrigued in for a Day 3 pick. He’s explosive and possesses great change of direction for his size. He didn’t get a whole lot of production at Virginia Tech, but that matters less with tight ends.

The tight end position is important for Frank Reich’s offense, which means the Colts could try to address it earlier. But Keene is an ideal Day 3 pick for Indy if they are looking for athleticism and upside.
