Colts’ 54-19 loss to Cowboys ended in Scorigami

The 54-19 result Sunday night was Scorigami.

The Indianapolis Colts (4-8-1) let an embarrassing fourth quarter lead to a 54-19 rout against the Dallas Cowboys (9-3) on Sunday night, and the matchup wound up resulting in Scorigami.

While Colts fans are still likely trying to wrap their heads around what happened in the fourth quarter that led to the Cowboys scoring 33 unanswered points, the result of the game checked off another box in the unique score category.

No game in NFL history has ever finished with a 54-19 score, which makes it Scorigami and the 1,074th unique final score ever.

It’s always a bit odd whenever Scorigami happens considering the longevity of the league, but we can thank the ridiculous fourth quarter that led to this result—and the Colts’ demise Sunday night.

Four of the Colts’ five drives in the final quarter resulted in either a fumble lost or an interception. All four of those turnovers resulted in touchdowns by the Cowboys.

The Colts will have a lot to think about going into the bye week, but it’s probably best they get a week off to forget about this disaster.
