The Buffs made the NCAA Tournament last year and defeated Middle Tennessee and Duke to advance to the Sweet 16 before falling to the Iowa Hawkeyes, so head coach JR Payne should be excited with lofty expectations for the 2023-2024 season.

The Buffs were also ranked No. 20 in the preseason Associated Press Poll, which was also released on Tuesday.
