Colorado men’s basketball’s Oregon road swing postponed

Colorado’s Oregon swing has been postponed

Like many other programs across the country, the Buffaloes are struggling to get on the court. Less than a week after Tuesday’s game against No. 7 Kansas was canceled, Colorado’s Dec. 30 game at Oregon and its New Year’s Day game at Oregon State have both been postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the Buffaloes’ program.

The official announcement from Colorado came on Sunday evening.

Now with three consecutive games either canceled or postponed, the Buffaloes, who haven’t played a game since beating CSU Bakersfield on Dec. 18, have Washington State up next in Boulder on Jan. 6.

Colorado’s problems are far from unique with multiple other Pac-12 programs also battling COVID-19 issues. USC and UCLA’s New Year’s weekend games against the Arizona schools were postponed (a total of four games), and Stanford’s Christmas Day matchup against Vanderbilt was canceled.
