Here’s the weird part about Ohio State playing in the College Football Playoff – the pressure is off. The Michigan game was what everything about this season was pointing to, but everything went right – don’t forget that it took Clemson and Tennessee losing to South Carolina along with that Utah win over USC – to get here.
Who’s the one team in college football that can hang player for player with Georgia? It’s not Alabama. Not this year. It’s Ohio State if it gets enough healthy parts back. This is where not playing in the Big Ten Championship really matters – the extra time gives this wounded team that much more of a chance to heal.
Of course, Georgia is Georgia. The lines could take over right away and pound the Buckeyes into submission like Michigan did, but …
