Chiefs vs. Buccaneers: WR DeAndre Hopkins scores go-ahead touchdown

#Chiefs WR DeAndre Hopkins scored a go-ahead touchdown that put Kansas City in a position to beat the #Buccaneers on “Monday Night Football.”

The Kansas City Chiefs entered Week 9 in search of their eighth-straight win to start the season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on ‘Monday Night Football.’

After Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw the game-tying touchdown pass to running back Samaje Perine, Kansas City’s defense stepped up on the next possession to force Tampa Bay into a quick three-and-out.

Mahomes, who struggled to start the second half, was taken off the field after his touchdown pass to Perine when he aggravated an ankle injury he sustained against the Las Vegas Raiders last week.

However, the reigning Super Bowl MVP immediately re-joined the Chiefs’ offense to orchestrate a flawless drive that ended in a go-ahead touchdown pass to wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

Take a look at this video of the game-changing play, which was posted by the Chiefs’ official Twitter account:

Stay tuned to see if Kansas City can close out the win to keep its perfect season intact.
