The 2023 NFL season is closer than one would think and the Los Angeles Chargers and their fans are pumped.
For the first time since maybe Dan Fouts, another Duck great, was the quarterback, the Chargers are a contender to win the AFC and reach the Super Bowl for just the second time in franchise history.
They are excited to see Justin Herbert reach his prime in his fourth season under center and the team has released a 77-second Justin Herbert hype video to celebrate the upcoming season.
At just over four million this season, the Chargers are getting a bargain with Herbert, but he is due to make around $29 million in 2024. The former Duck great and Pro Bowler, is already cementing himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the league today.
In 2022, Herbert completed 68 percent of his passes, threw for 4,739 yards, 25 touchdowns and just 10 interceptions. Los Angeles expects those numbers to rise even more this season and have the Eugene native lead the team to the promised land.
