2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic odds, predictions and PGA Tour picks

Analyzing the golf odds to win the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic, with PGA Tour picks, predictions and best bets.

The PGA Tour returns to Detroit Golf Club as it hosts the third running of the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Bryson DeChambeau returns as the defending champion and 2021 betting favorite. Below, we look at the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic odds and make our PGA Tour picks and predictions to win.

Detroit Golf Club measures 7,370 yards and plays to a par of 72. The Donald Ross design puts an emphasis on accuracy off the tee on the front nine, but the back nine is considerably more open and allows for plenty of scoring opportunities.

The two runnings of the event have seen rather different fields and leaderboards. The inaugural 2019 tournament was won by Nate Lashley with Doc Redman as the runner-up. Last year’s edition was one of the Tour’s first events back from the COVID-19 pandemic with DeChambeau winning over Matthew Wolff.

Will Zalatoris (+2500)

Zalatoris, 24, is 18th in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings but remains in need of a win for full PGA Tour status and eligibility for the FedExCup Playoffs. He’s fifth in this field by the Golfweek rankings and shares the fifth-best odds to win.

His missed cut at the US Open was just his second through 15 events in 2021. That and a prior missed cut at the Wells Fargo Championship, have boosted his odds for this week.

Zalatoris has a runner-up finish at the Masters and three other top-10 finishes on the year, including a T-8 at the PGA Championship. He’s still averaging 1.51 Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green and 1.00 SG: Approach per round for the 2020-21 season.

2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic picks – Contender

Doc Redman (+5500)

Redman has fallen to No. 131 in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) with six missed cuts through 15 events this year, but he tied for second against a weaker field at the Palmetto Championship and for 61st at last week’s Travelers Championship.

Course history is on his side with his runner-up finish in 2019 and a T-21 in the stronger field last year.

His approach game has been sharp this season, and he has been better with the putter of late. He also averaged 1.23 SG: Around-the-Green per round at the Palmetto as a considerable improvement on the weakest part of his game.

2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic picks – Long shot

Mackenzie Hughes (+15000)

Hughes tied for 76th last week following his Sunday collapse and T-15 finish at the US Open. He lost a woeful 0.84 strokes per round off the tee last week; however, he remained strong around the greens and has been one of the Tour’s most consistent putters this season.

He didn’t play this event last year after a T-21 finish in 2019. He averaged 1.26 SG: Tee-to-Green and 0.84 SG: Approach per round in that appearance.

Mainly, this number is far too high for someone who was recently in the top 50 of the OWGR and has begun showing signs of old form after a stretch of five straight missed cuts.

2021 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship odds, predictions and LPGA picks

Analyzing the golf odds to win the 2021 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, with LPGA picks, predictions and best bets.

The 2021 Women’s PGA Championship takes place this week at Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, Georgia. Sei Young Kim looks to defend her major title from October; 155 other golfers are looking to dethrone her. Below, we look at the 2021 Women’s PGA Championship odds and make our picks and predictions to win.

All are competing for a share of the $4.5 million purse. Kim won the pandemic-delayed 2020 event by five strokes at 14-under par at Aronimink Golf Club. Nelly Korda comes in off a win at last week’s Meijer LPGA Classic in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Still, the biggest name to watch this week is three-time Women’s PGA Championship winner Inbee Park. She went back-to-back-to-back from 2013-2015 with her most recent Women’s PGA Championship win decided by five strokes at Westchester Country Club. She’s this week’s betting favorite at +1400.

Odds provided by BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated Wednesday at 8:01 a.m. ET.

Inbee Park (+1400)

Park is the rightful favorite for her fourth career Women’s PGA Championship title even though she hasn’t won since the Kia Classic in late March. She’s No. 2 in the Rolex rankings and in scoring average, and No. 3 in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings.

Park tied for 10th last week by going 68-68-68-67 at Blythefield Country Club. She’s just 148th on tour in driving distance but is eighth in driving accuracy, 33rd in greens in regulation and fourth in putting average. Accuracy is more important than distance under major conditions.

2021 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship picks – Contender

Brooke Henderson (+2800)

Henderson missed the cut in Michigan last week. She was done in by an opening round of plus-3 75 but responded with a 5-under 67 in the second round to miss the weekend on the number.

The Canadian is No. 6 in the Golfweek rankings, but she’s just 12th by the odds to win this week. She won the 2016 Women’s PGA Championship at Sahalee Country Club and the 2021 Hugel-Air Premia LA Open in late April.

Henderson is fifth in the Rolex rankings and tied for fourth on tour with five top-10 finishes this season. She’s also fifth in greens in regulation and should avoid a lot of the tough rough around the putting surfaces.

2021 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship picks – Long shot

Yuka Saso (+5000)

Saso celebrated her 20th birthday over the weekend, just two weeks after winning the US Women’s Open as a 19-year-old. She has vaulted to No. 34 in the world rankings. Unlike most of this week’s top competition, she didn’t play last week in Grand Rapids and won’t have to deal with the lengthy travel.

Saso will play the Women’s PGA Championship for just the first time, but it will be her fifth career major appearance. Her odds have fallen considerably from where they were a couple of weeks ago, but there’s still plenty of value at 50-1 for the reigning US Open champ.

2021 Travelers Championship Fantasy Golf Power Rankings

Fantasy golf power rankings for the 2021 Travelers Championship, with PGA Tour odds, picks and predictions.

A strong PGA Tour field makes its way to TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut, for this week’s Travelers Championship. On the heels of Jon Rahm’s victory at the 2021 US Open. Below, we look at the fantasy golf power rankings and odds for the 2021 Travelers Championship, with PGA Tour picks and predictions.

The field is surprisingly strong considering the cross-country travel from Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California. Bryson DeChambeauBrooks Koepka and defending Travelers champion Dustin Johnson are the biggest names making the trip and are the top-three betting favorites this week.

TPC River Highlands, a long-time PGA Tour venue, measures a conservative 6,841 yards and plays to a par of 70. The course puts an emphasis on accuracy off the tee but low scores should be expected with Johnson winning by a single stroke at 19-under par in 2020.

2021 Travelers Championship: Fantasy Golf Top 20

Odds provided by BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Odds last updated Monday at 7 p.m. ET.

20. Ryan Moore (+12500)

The course history pick of the week, Moore has 46 career rounds played at TPC River Highlands with an average of 1.69 strokes gained on the field per round. He has never won the Travelers but was a runner-up in 2011 and 2006. He more recently tied for 15th in 2019 before a missed cut last year.

19. Kevin Na (+5500)

The winner of the Sony Open in Hawaii has a top finish of T-11 at the WGC-Workday Championship in 13 events since and is coming off a missed cut at the US Open. He has still been strong in the short game and is 35th on Tour in driving accuracy.

18. Cameron Tringale (+8000)

Tied for third at the Valspar Championship which was played at the highly comparable Copperhead. Averaged 1.58 SG: Tee-to-Green that week and has three top-10 finishes in 2021.

17. Brendon Todd (+7500)

The most accurate driver on Tour this season will benefit from the shorter venue this week. He missed the cut in the difficult US Open conditions, but he’s just four weeks removed from a T-8 finish at the Charles Schwab Challenge.

16. Russell Henley (+5500)

Tumbled down the leaderboard in the final round of the US Open to finish T-13, but he averaged 1.63 SG: Tee-to-Green and 1.60 SG: Approach per round for the week. He has averaged 1.18 strokes gained on the field over 14 career rounds at TPC River Highlands.

15. Sam Burns (+5500)

Won the Valspar Championship and was the runner-up at the AT&T Byron Nelson the next week but withdrew from the PGA Championship due to injury, tied for 50th at the Memorial Tournament, and missed the cut at the US Open. As a result, his odds have ballooned back to where they were prior to his maiden victory, and he’s a great fit for this course.

14. Keegan Bradley (+5000)

Finished alone in second at the Valspar Championship as one of two top-10 placings this year. Followed it up with back-to-back top-20 finishes before a missed cut at the Memorial. Averaging 0.97 strokes gained over 38 career rounds at this venue, including a T-2 finish in 2019.

13. Joaquin Niemann (+3500)

His play around the greens has been his only real weakness this season but it won’t be tested too much at TPC River Highlands. He tied for fifth in his debut at this event in 2019.

12. Bubba Watson (+5400)

The three-time Travelers champ missed the cut in 2020 but is just three years removed from his third win at TPC River Highlands. He stumbled to a T-50 finish at the US Open, but he was strong off the tee all week with 0.52 strokes gained per round.

11. Patrick Reed (+2500)

Tied for 19th at Torrey Pines with strong play on and around the greens. Averaging 1.07 strokes gained over 30 career rounds at this venue.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

10. Abraham Ancer (+3000)

Finished T-8 in 2019 and T-11 last year at the Travelers. Ranked among the leaders in SG: Tee-to-Green in both appearances. Missed the cut at the US Open but tied for eighth at the PGA Championship and is better suited to the shorter course.

9. Paul Casey (+1800)

Three straight top-10 showings, including a T-7 at the US Open and a sixth-place finish at the European Tour’s Porsche European Open. Has two runner-up finishes in this event since 2015.

8. Tony Finau (+3000)

Comes off a rare missed cut in a major at the US Open. He performed well with the putter over two rounds but was a disaster from tee to green with 2.63 strokes lost per round. He’s still averaging 1.67 SG: Tee-to-Green per round for the season and should bounce back at inflated odds.

7. Brian Harman (+2800)

Averaging 1.07 strokes gained per round across 36 career rounds at TPC River Highlands. Looks to follow the mold of Watson as a lefty winner at this venue.

6. Harris English (+3500)

His Sunday 68 tied for the fourth-best round of the day at Torrey Pines. He was ninth among those who made the cut with 2.02 SG: Tee-to-Green per round.

5. Bryson DeChambeau (+1200)

Three straight top-10 finishes in this event but will need to recover from his final-round 77 at the US Open.

4. Scottie Scheffler (+2800)

Tied for seventh last week with a field-best 2.12 SG: Putting per round. He’s also tied for first on Tour in total driving this season.

3. Brooks Koepka (+1600)

Didn’t play this event last year but tied for 57th in 2019 and for 19th in 2018. He was among the leaders in both SG: Off-the-Tee and SG: Tee-to-Green in a T-4 finish last week.

2. Patrick Cantlay (+1800)

Followed his Memorial Tournament win with a T-15 finish at the US Open. He’s third on Tour with 2.01 total strokes gained per round and his 3.02 expected wins, according to Data Golf, are the most by over a full victory. He has two victories this season.

1. Dustin Johnson (+1400)

The reigning champ has begun rounding into form with a T-10 at the Palmetto Championship and a T-19 at the US Open. His victory at the 2020 Travelers snapped a lengthy winless drought and was his first of three of the calendar year en route to winning the FedExCup playoffs.

2021 Travelers Championship odds, predictions and PGA Tour picks

Analyzing the golf odds to win the 2021 Travelers Championship, with PGA Tour picks, predictions and best bets.

The Travelers Championship returns to its usual spot on the PGA Tour schedule in 2021 as the follow-up event to the US Open. A strong field is at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn. Below, we look at the 2021 Travelers Championship odds and make our PGA Tour picks and predictions to win.

Dustin Johnson returns as the defending champion from last summer. He’s the top-ranked player in the field at No. 5 in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings (as of June 14); he tied for 19th at the US Open.

Bryson DeChambeau is this week’s betting favorite at +1100 off of a disappointing T-26 finish in his defense of the US Open. He shot an 8-over par 44 on the back nine in Sunday’s final round including a quadruple bogey on No. 17.

Scottie Scheffler (+2800)

Scheffler missed the cut in his first appearance at the Travelers last year  despite averaging 1.34 Strokes Gained: Putting per round. He’s tied with Rahm for first on Tour in total driving this season and is coming off a strong T-7 finish last week.

He led last week’s field with 2.12 SG: Putting per round. For the 2020-21 season, he’s averaging 1.05 SG: Tee-to-Green and 1.42 total strokes gained on the field per round. He’s a quality fit for the course with TPC River Highland’s emphasis on accuracy off the tee and with a hot flat stick.

2021 Travelers Championship picks – Contender

Bubba Watson (+5000)

Watson is looking for his fourth Travelers Championship title with his most recent coming by three strokes in 2018. He tied for 50th at Torrey Pines last week while going plus-11 over the weekend.

He still averaged 0.52 SG: Off-the-Tee per round but struggled with his approach game. His missed cut at TPC River Highlands last summer was largely due to a woeful putting performance, but he was much closer to neutral with the flat stick last week.

Watson’s 50 career rounds played at this venue rank fourth in the field, and his 1.66 strokes gained per round are the fifth-most among those with at least 10 rounds played. He’s averaging 0.80 SG: Off-the-Tee and 0.97 SG: Tee-to-Green per round for the season.

2021 Travelers Championship picks – Long shot

Guido Migliozzi (+10000)

Migliozzi tied for fourth at last week’s US Open and will now play the first non-major PGA Tour event of his career. He enters the week at No. 72 in the Official World Golf Ranking. He won twice on the European Tour in 2019 and had back-to-back runner-up finishes before arriving in the US.

The 24-year-old Italian was sixth in the field last week with 2.83 SG: Tee-to-Green per round, and he was fourth among those who made the cut in SG: Around-the-Green.

Get him at this value price while you can, because they won’t last long if he’s going to play more regularly on the PGA Tour.

2021 Open Championship Odds: Early favorites and long shots to watch

Looking at the odds for the 2021 Open Championship, with PGA Tour favorites and long shots to watch.

The Open Championship returns to the PGA Tour schedule (July 15-18) in 2021 after the 2020 tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be the final major of 2021 and the last of six majors played as part of the 2020-21 season. Below, we look at the 2021 Open Championship odds, and highlight the favorites and long shots to watch.

Royal St. George’s in England will host The Open for the 15th time but the first since 2011. Darren Clarke was the last champion of this venue, with Dustin Johnson and Phil Mickelson finishing as co-runners-up. Shane Lowry is the long-reigning Champion Golfer of the Year after winning at Royal Portrush in 2019.

Jon Rahm solidified his spot at No. 1 in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings with his US Open victory at Torrey Pines. He’s the early favorite to be a back-to-back major champion.

Jordan Spieth +1600 $1,600
Viktor Hovland +2000 $2,000
Xander Schauffele +2000 $2,000
Tyrrell Hatton +2500 $2,500

Rahm just won the US Open as a +1000 pre-tournament betting favorite. His first career major win was the fifth solo victory of his PGA Tour career. He finished in the top 10 of each of the three majors this year but has a top Open Championship finish of T-11 in 2019.

Johnson missed the cut at the Masters and the PGA Championship but improved to tie for 19th at the US Open. His T-2 finish at the 2011 Open Championship is one of three top-10 showings in 11 appearances.

Hatton is the top Englishman by the odds. He’s also Golfweek’s top-ranked English golfer at No. 14. Countrymen Tommy Fleetwood (+3300), Lee Westwood (+4000) and Paul Casey (+4000) also seek to capture their first majors at odds lower than 50-1 to win.

NAME ODDS Bet $100 to win
Shane Lowry +4000 $4,000
Scottie Scheffler +5000 $5,000
Justin Rose +5000 $5,000
Phil Mickelson +5000 $5,000

Robert MacIntyre +6600 $6,600
Francesco Molinari +8000 $8,000
Danny Willett +12500 $12,500

Scheffler comes off a strong T-7 showing at the US Open. He’s part of the top tier of golfers looking for their first major win now that Rahm has his.

Mickelson followed his stunning PGA Championship victory with a missed cut at the Charles Schwab Challenge the next week then tied for 62nd at the US Open. His lone Open win was in 2013, but he has a runner-up at St. George’s in 2011.

Fowler fell short of qualification for the US Open, but he had shown much-improved form leading up to it with a T-8 at the PGA Championship and a T-11 against a major-like field at the Memorial Tournament.

Higgo claimed his first PGA Tour win at the Palmetto Championship before a missed cut at the US Open. He has two European Tour wins this year and seven career international victories.

MacIntyre made himself known on the PGA Tour with a T-12 finish at the Masters. He placed inside the top 50 at the PGA Championship and US Open and is 14th on the European Tour’s Race to Dubai rankings.

2021 US Open Bets: Bryson DeChambeau vs. Brooks Koepka

Looking at the odds and lines for the 2021 US Open, with PGA Tour picks and predictions between Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka.

Golf’s greatest active rivalry takes center stage this week at the 121st US Open as Brooks Koepka tries to dethrone reigning US Open champ Bryson DeChambeau. Below, we look at the top bets between DeChambeau vs. Koepka at the 2021 US Open, with PGA Tour picks and predictions.

DeChambeau comes into the tournament at No. 6 in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings with Koepka at No. 82. The Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) has them a little closer together at Nos. 5 and 10, respectively.

Both golfers have a win already this season. DeChambeau won the Arnold Palmer Invitational and has three other top-10 finishes through 12 events. Koepka won the Waste Management Phoenix Open and has two runner-up finishes through nine events, including a T-2 at last month’s PGA Championship.

2021 US Open Bets: DeChambeau vs. Koepka

Odds provided by BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. ET.

Tournament match betting: DeChambeau (-125) vs. Koepka (+100)

I discussed this 72-hole matchup here, but it’s the marquee matchup of the US Open.

As discussed on Bet Slippin’ Podcast, the line seems to be doubting Koepka’s health after a missed cut at last week’s Palmetto Championship in South Carolina, even though he tied for second at the PGA Championship in much more difficult conditions. He underwent knee surgery in March and missed the cut in his next two events prior to the year’s second major.

Expect a more motivated KOEPKA (+100) this week as he looks to take down his rival, the reigning US Open champ. Take the value with the even-money underdog. Though, that’d be the case if the odds were reversed, too.

DeChambeau and Koepka each to finish in the top 5: +2000

DeChambeau and Koepka are each +350 for a top-5 finish this week. We’re getting slightly better value with this prop than we would for a straight parlay with a $100 bet returning a profit of $2,000.

It’s a solid bet, with both golfers in the top four by the outright odds. We even get some insurance in the event of multiple golfers tying for fifth.

Dual Forecast (1st/2nd any order): +12500

There’d be no greater story this weekend (other than, perhaps, Phil Mickelson completing the career grand slam) than DeChambeau and Koepka being paired together Sunday afternoon and going down to the wire.

Get a small piece of that possibility by betting Koepka and DeChambeau to finish 1-2 in either order. A $10 bet would return a profit of $1,250.

2021 US Open prop bet picks and predictions

Looking at the odds for the 2021 US Open, with PGA Tour picks and predictions for the top prop bets.

The first groups will kick off the 121st US Open at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California, Thursday morning at 6:45 a.m. PT. Bryson DeChambeau comes in as the reigning champ and looks to fend off the rest of the 156-man field for his second major win. Below, we’ll look for the best value prop bets in the 2021 US Open odds, with placings, groups and first-round leader picks and predictions.

Jon Rahm, who’s No. 1 in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings, is the betting favorite for the third major of 2021 and fifth of the 2020-21 PGA Tour season. He’s returning to play after being forced to withdraw from the Memorial Tournament due to a positive test for COVID-19.

Patrick Reed seeks his second major win after winning the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in late January.

2021 US Open picks: Placings

Odds provided by BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated Wednesday at 9:25 a.m. ET.

Top 5: Jon Rahm (+190)

In a major or any strong-field event, it’s a good idea to hedge your outright bets with a top-5 or top-10 wager. Especially when still getting a plus-money payout for the placing bet.

Rahm is the favorite to win the US Open at +900 with those odds returning a profit of $900 on a $100 bet. Put a similar-sized bet on the top-5 finish to recoup your potential losses in case he comes up short. If he wins outright you cash both tickets.

Top 10: Marc Leishman (+600)

Leishman won the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in 2020 and tied for second in both 2010 and 2014. He won the Zurich Classic of New Orleans team event with partner Cameron Smith earlier this year, and his putting and iron play has been in excellent form. He also tied for fifth at the Masters in April.

2021 US Open picks: Top player

Top English: Matt Wallace (+1100)

Wallace shares just the sixth-best odds in this nationality pool. He’s a strong fit for the course and the US Open conditions while 19th on Tour in par 4 efficiency: 450-500 yards and averaging 0.78 Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green per round.

Top Rest of the World: Cameron Smith (+1000)

Smith is averaging 0.85 SG: Tee-to-Green and 0.62 SG: Putting per round. He has also averaged 0.97 strokes gained on the field per round over 15 career rounds on the South Course at the Farmers Insurance Open.

2021 US Open picks: First-round leader

Patrick Reed (+4000)

Reed isn’t a bad bet to win the US Open at +2500, but he offers a higher payout for the first-round lead when conditions at Torrey Pines will be most similar to the Farmers Insurance Open. He’s fourth on Tour this season in Round 1 scoring average.

2021 US Open matchups picks and best bets

Assessing the top matchups for the 2021 US Open, with PGA Tour picks, predictions and best bets.

The 121st US Open starts Thursday morning at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California. Groups and tee times for the first two rounds were released Tuesday, and with those come US Open betting matchups. Below, we look at the top 18- and 72-hole matchups for the 2021 US Open, with PGA Tour picks and predictions.

Golf fans were left disappointed when Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka were split up for their opening 36 holes of the tournament.

The defending champion will tee off Thursday at 4:14 p.m. ET alongside Tyler Strafaci and Hideki Matsuyama. Koepka begins his quest for a third US Open title at 10:29 a.m. ET in a group with Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas.

2021 US Open first-round matchups (18 holes)

Odds provided by BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. ET.

Collin Morikawa (+188) vs. Justin Thomas (+175) vs. Brooks Koepka (+163)

MORIKAWA (+188) is the pick in this early morning (10:29 a.m. ET) grouping. He leads the PGA Tour in Strokes Gained: Approach and Tee-to-Green for the 2020-21 season and will be able to stick his iron shots close in the softer, easier morning conditions.

He also has the best Round 1 scoring average of the three at 69.93 for the season.

Also see:

Max Homa (+250) vs. Xander Schauffele (+110) vs. Phil Mickelson (+200)

Three California natives are grouped together for the opening two rounds. Mickelson is coming off of his historic PGA Championship win, Homa won The Genesis Invitational in February, and Schauffele is the highest-ranked of the three at No. 2 in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings.

Back MICKELSON (+200) with his edge in experience on Torrey Pines South Course. His 45 rounds played are the most in this field. He also opened last month’s Wells Fargo Championship with the first-round lead with a 7-under-par 64.

Jordan Spieth (+138) vs. Scottie Scheffler (+200) vs. Will Zalatoris (+200)

SCHEFFLER (+200) has a considerable distance advantage over both Spieth and Zalatoris to make him the pick in this afternoon (4:25 p.m. ET) group. The soon-to-be 25-year-old had to withdraw from last year’s US Open, but he tied for eighth at the PGA Championship last month. He leads the Tour in total driving this season.

2021 US Open tournament matchups (72 holes)

Jon Rahm (-175) vs. Dustin Johnson (+140)

This tournament matchup pits Golfweek’s top-ranked golfer in Rahm against Johnson, who’s still No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR). Rahm is my pick to win this week as the US Open betting favorite but the value on JOHNSON (+140) is far too great to pass up.

Johnson is a two-time major winner while Rahm seeks his first. This should be much closer to a pick ’em.

Bryson DeChambeau (-125) vs. Brooks Koepka (+100)

We won’t get to see the Twitter rivals play together until Saturday at the earliest, but bettors can still get action via the 72-hole matchup.

Take the value with KOEPKA (+100), a four-time major champ, at even money. He has the advantage in SG: Approach and experience at Torrey Pines against the Tour’s SG: Off-the-Tee leader.

Jordan Spieth (-110) vs. Justin Thomas (-110)

Back THOMAS (-110) with his advantages in driving accuracy and iron play over Spieth. He comes into the week at No. 2 in the OWGR, as well. The thick rough of Torrey Pines and the US Open could cause troubles for Spieth’s reliance on scrambling if he continues to spray his drives.

Mickelson tries for the 30th time to win the US Open. He’s coming off a historic victory at the PGA Championship and is also playing a hometown course just outside of San Diego. Is that enough to warrant a bet at +5000?

Tim, Esten and Geoff make their picks among the favorites and long shots. Tim advises giving a preference to a few top golfers from the West Coast.

They then go through some of the additional US Open betting markets, including top player pools and head-to-head tournament matchups.
