The Eagles are the most unhappy 11-4 team in NFL history, but the only that counts is the wins, and Philadelphia got back on track with a 33-25 victory over the New York Giants on Christmas Day.

DeVonta Smith went over 1,000 receiving yards for a second straight season, running back D’Andre Swift pulled within 12 yards of 1,000 rushing yards on the year, and quarterback Jalen Hurts threw for 300 passing yards for the first time since Week 8 against the Washington Commanders.

The Eagles were dominated in Dallas on Sunday night, suffering a 33-13 loss to the Cowboys on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.

Many numbers tell the story of the disappointing loss, but the Week 14 PFF grades offer the most damming evidence of elite talent underachieving at critical positions.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts was 18-27 passing for 197 yards, no touchdowns, and one costly turnover. Philadelphia’s big 3 of Hurts, A.J. Brown, and DeVonta Smith accounted for all three turnovers in the loss.

That epitomized the Vikings’ defense on Sunday. They didn’t just earn the first Vikings shutout since 2017 but it was the lowest scoring indoor game in National Football League history.

The Vikings’ defense has allowed just 12 points over the last two games and continues to be the biggest bright spot for the franchise in 2023.

Coming out of the bye week, they struggled mightily on offense and found a way to win a 3-0 game over the Las Vegas Raiders.

In the first half, the offense only generated 88 total yards and was lethargic on offense. They only got into Raiders territory once and failed to convert with Greg Joseph missing a 49-yard field goal. He got his retribution with 1:57 left in the game as the Vikings took the lead and won.
