Looking to catch the Lions in action but can’t get in front of a screen to watch? The Detroit Lions radio network can bring you all the action.
This year sees some minor changes to the network affiliate list, which encompasses over 40 radio stations across the state of Michigan. Play-by-play man Dan Miller and color analyst Lomas Brown bring the Lions action to fans all over the state, headlined by the team’s flagship station, 97.1 The Ticket in Detroit. Pregame and postgame shows for both the exhibition season and regular season are part of the radio package, though may be preempted for different local programming.

The alternate broadcast will feature Brad Holmes, Chris Spielman and many others
Looking for a different angle and tyle of commentary on the Detroit Lions preseason broadcast coverage? The team has come up with something that sounds pretty interesting.
The Lions will have an alternate broadcast for Friday’s exhibition game against the New York Giants. The team announced they will live stream the different feed on the Lions website or via the Detroit Lions mobile phone app.

The alternate broadcast, using Kiswe’s cloud production, will be hosted by Peter Schrager and will include live commentary and interviews from several guests. Fans can watch the alternate broadcast via www.detroitlions.com or on the Detroit Lions Mobile App.
Among those who will appear on the special broadcast are several Lions dignitaries, including GM Brad Holmes, special assistant Chris Spielman and former players Golden Tate and Glover Quin.
The standard feed will be available over the air and on the Lions broadcast network. This is an additional one, and one that sounds worth checking out.
After weeks of waiting, Lions fans will get their look at the popular behind-the-draft-scenes “Inside the Den” in late July
One of the most hotly anticipated announcements of the summer finally came from the Detroit Lions. The team’s social media team revealed the premiere date for the long-awaited debut of “Inside the Den.”
After earlier teasing with a “mid-July” announcement that led to some serious agonizing amongst the Lions fan base, the team has officially scheduled the behind-the-scenes look at the Detroit draft room for July 27th.

Fans have been clamoring for the special for months after last season’s well-received series. Lions fans have flooded comment sections and social media replies to anything even remotely Lions related with pleas for “Inside the Den” for weeks.

The Detroit Lions ended the 2022 season in style. The Lions went into Lambeau Field and ended the Green Bay Packers season with a 20-16 win in Week 18.
The win secured second place for the Lions in the NFC North and the team’s first winning record since the 2016 campaign. The turnaround from the 1-6 start culminated with the second win of the season over the Packers, who would have made the postseason had they beaten the Lions.

New Year’s Day was a glorious Sunday for the Detroit Lions. The Lions treated a sellout crowd at Ford Field to a dominant 41-10 win over the NFC North rival Chicago Bears in Week 17.
The big win closed out Detroit’s home schedule for the 2022 season with five wins and four losses. In leveling the Lions record at 8-8, the victory also kept Detroit’s playoff hopes alive entering the final weekend.
