Watch: Bills’ QB Josh Allen bulldozes the Miami Dolphins’ defense

Josh Allen crushed the Miami Dolphins’ defense on a running play.

Quarterbacks are not supposed to run over multiple defenders on one play. No one told that to the Bills’ Josh Allen.

The third-year QB from Wyoming left a number of Miami Dolphins defenders humbled and crumbled Sunday as the Bills’ quarterback hit everyone and anyone,

Check this out:

Watch: Josh Allen astonishingly misses wide-open John Brown

Josh Allen will see this one in his nightmares, missing John Brown, who was wide-open in the end zone.

How on earth did Josh Allen fail to find John Brown, who was alone — and we mean alone — in the back of the end zone?

The Bills were handling the New York Jets Sunday in their home opener. That said, Allen is going to have to be on target when free scores are available or else Buffalo could find itself in trouble when the opponent isn’t as meek as Gang Green.

Who is the oldest practice squad player in NFL history?

Josh McCown will sit at home, make $12,000 a week as a practice squad player for the Eagles.

Josh McCown has been around a long time. And the journeyman can add another line to his resume: practice squad player.

The Philadelphia Eagles signed the veteran, 41-year-old QB to their practice squad Sunday.

McCown was an assistant coach with a high school team while on the Eagles last season. He hopes to eventually go into coaching … if he retires at any point.

Scott Norwood wide-right Super Bowl XXV jersey up for auction

The jersey Scott Norwood wore in Super Bowl XXV when his last-second kick went wide right is up for auction.

Not quite sure if a Buffalo Bills fan would want this or more likely a New York Giants booster. The jersey that Scott Norwood wore during the “wide-right” kick at Super Bowl XXV is now up for auction.

The high bid as of this writing is $27,000 and the auction ends in two days per the site.

The moment Giants fans will never forget and Bills fans obviously want to erase from their memory.

Have to wonder if a Bills Mafia conglomerate will put together a group to bid on it, win it and burn it.

NFL Shop alternate camouflage helmets are selling fast

The NFL is selling team helmets with a camouflage design.

Check out some of the cool Camo Alternate helmets the NFL popped out Wednesday.

The video shows how the helmets come together — rapidly — and some of them have really cool looks.

If you like them enough to buy one, click here. It will set you back anywhere from $54.99-$429.99 per helmet. And they are selling fast, per the site.

Buffalo Bills extend head coach Sean McDermott

The Buffalo Bills have extended head coach Sean McDermott’s contract.

The Buffalo Bills took care of one contract Wednesday. The AFC East team has extended its head coach Sean McDermott, who led it to a playoff spot in 2019.

McDermott has a 25-23 record in three seasons as Buffalo’s head coach.  He previously served as an assistant coach for the Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Panthers.

Ex-NFL lineman pleads not guilty by reason of insanity in murder case

Former NFL lineman Justin Bannan entered a not guilty by insanity plea in an attempted murder case in Colorado.

A strange case of a former NFL lineman, Justin Bannan, facing multiple charges in an attempted murder took another bizarre twist Thursday.

The former Denver Bronco pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity as he faces attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault (extreme indifference), first-degree assault (intent to cause serious bodily injury), and first-degree burglary charges, KDVR reported.

Bannan, 41, was a fifth-round draft pick of the Buffalo Bills in 2002. He played for the Bills from 2002-05 and the Baltimore Ravens from ’06-09.

He played in 16 games for the Broncos in 2010 and 2012, with stints with the St. Louis Rams in 2011 and the Detroit Lions in 2013.

Per KDVR:

According to an arrest affidavit, after Bannan was arrested, he told an officer he has hydrocephalus, which can lead to the loss of reasoning skills and other issues. Bannan reportedly told the officer he got rid of his cellphone because someone was using it to track him.

The officer also said Bannan told him he believed the Russian mafia was following him. He said he went into a dark room at Black Lab Sports to hide from the mafia.

Bannan reportedly said the shooting was an “accident,” saying he only fired once and did not mean to hit the woman.

The affidavit also states officers recovered items Bannan was carrying when he was arrested, including a rolled-up $20 bill with a white, powdery residue which tested positive for cocaine.

If found not guilty by reason of insanity, Bannon would be held at a psychiatric facility for treatment until he was deemed not to be a threat to himself or the community.

Boulder Deputy District Attorney Adrian Van Nice requested that Bannan be taken into custody for in-patient evaluation due to public safety concerns.

“By entering this plea today, what the defendant is saying is, ‘I did these things but my behavior is excused,’” Van Nice said. “As a result, the defendant is admitting that he poses the same risk today that the court could find that he poses at the end of trial.”

Van Nice also was concerned that CTE is a “complex” disease that might need more in-depth observation, and one that does not have treatment options.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers add veteran running back LeSean McCoy

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers added another veteran, signing running back LeSean McCoy.

The names are oh so familiar. Will they translate to success for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Another star, running back LeSean McCoy, joins newcomers Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski on the Bucs’ roster for 2020.

The Bucs signed the former Philadelphia Eagle, Buffalo Bill and Kansas City Chief to a one-year contract Thursday.

McCoy, 32, rushed for a career-low 465 yards with Kansas City in 2019. He actually was a healthy scratch at the end of the season and in the postseason.

Overall, the former Pitt star has rushed for 11,071 yards and 73 touchdowns.

His best season was 2013 when he led the NFL in rushing with 1,607 yards for the Eagles.

Ronald Jones Jr. is expected to be the Bucs’ feature back, but McCoy should see a healthy amount of work. Jones was the leading rusher last season with 724 yards. The departed Peyton Barber and Jameis Winston were the only other Bucs to crack the century mark rushing.
