Cardinals jump back into top 20 of new power rankings after win over Rams

They moved up to No. 19 after their 27-17 win over the Rams in Week 10.

The Arizona Cardinals picked up a win in Week 10, defeating the Los Angeles Rams 27-17 on the road. With the win, they got a boost in new power rankings from Touchdown Wire’s Mark Lane.

After dropping to No. 24 after losing to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 9, they moved up five places back into the top 20 at No. 19 with the victory.

Arizona escaped the bottom of the NFC West with a 27-17 win over the Los Angeles Rams. However, there is only a certain level of achievement inherent with a team that has to rely on Colt McCoy as its starting quarterback.

They got the win despite Kyler Murray missing the game. They face the San Francisco 49ers in Mexico City on Monday night in Week 11.

The offense seemed to find some rhythm with McCoy playing, but if the offense gets off schedule at all, McCoy’s flaws will show through.

If the Cardinals can somehow pick up a big win over the Niners on Monday, it might be enough momentum to push them into real contention for the playoffs.

As tight as the NFC is, the Cardinals still have a chance, but they need to win games.
