Bulls GM Marc Eversley on Lonzo’s knee: ‘All reports are good’

Per Eversley, Lonzo has been working out and rehabbing back home in Los Angeles.

Lonzo Ball’s first season in the Windy City didn’t necessarily go as planned, which makes this offseason important for the fifth-year guard out of UCLA.

Following Thursday night’s NBA draft, Bulls GM Marc Eversley spoke to the media about their selection of Dalen Terry along with Zach LaVine’s pending free agency and an update on Lonzo Ball’s knee injury.

“All reports are good,” Eversley said.

Ball underwent surgery in late-January to repair a small meniscus tear in his left knee, which forced him out for the remainder of the season after being unable to ramp up his rehab due to discomfort in his knee. Lonzo’s father, LaVar, felt that the Bulls ramped up Lonzo’s rehab too soon and were ‘training him the wrong way.’

Eversley followed up with stating that he ‘certainly hopes’ that Lonzo will be ready for training camp.
