Browns vs. Texans daily fantasy football projections

The Houston Texans (2-6) are traveling to the great state of Ohio to take on the Cleveland Browns (5-3) this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. Along with this game having AFC playoff implications, there is still money to be made on the fantasy side of things. Here are the top choices at each position.

All prices based on DraftKings

Quarterback: Deshaun Watson- $6,900

Watson has the opportunity to be a top five scorer at his position this weekend. Despite having a less than ideal start to 2020, Watson has been on fire recently. He’s scored at least 24 fantasy points in each of his last four contests, landing him in the top ten for each of those weeks. With Cleveland allowing their opponents to average a whopping 68.1 plays per game and the total set high at 54, it is safe to assume one of these quarterbacks is going to benefit. It should be Watson with an offense more reliant on throwing the rock. Projection – 24 points

Running Back: Kareem Hunt – $6,700

Hunt has the potential to be a top-five scoring back this week even with Nick Chubb entering the fold. He has not lived up to expectations in Chubb’s absence only gaining a high of 86 rushing yards and 26 receiving yards during the last two games, but the Houston run defense is borderline pathetic allowing 1,159 rushing yards, which is the most in the NFL. That is a ton of yards and that leads the NFL even with them already having their bye week. Projection- 24 points

Wide Receiver: Will Fuller V – $6,700

We talked about Watson being the better option at quarterback, so it only makes sense to include his number one option as the best receiver. Fuller has top 15 scoring potential for his position and has appeared to knock off his feast or famine reputation as he has been a top-36 receiver in seven of the last eight games and even top-15 in three of his last five outings. The Browns haven’t exactly been shutdown either as they have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game for wide receivers. Projection- 20 points

Tight End: Austin Hooper – $3,900

It is not unrealistic for Hooper to be a top ten tight end this week after returning from an appendectomy that resulted in two missed games. Few have benefited from the bye week like Hooper as his target share percentage was steadily rising the last few weeks before the injury. His target share has gone from 5% to 17% to 23% to 27% and now he gets to face Houston who has allowed the eight highest catch rate to tight ends at 73.6% and the ninth- highest yards per target at 7.92 yards. Projection- 10 points
