Michigan football thought it could have it all, but it turns out, sometimes you just can’t.
The Wolverines just completed the unlikely flip of 2025 Belleville (Mich.) five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood from LSU giving them the highest-rated offensive commit in program history. But that came with costs.
Getting the top-rated QB in 2025 made 2026 Cocoa (Fla.) four-star quarterback Brady Hart’s role a little more expendable. And another school took quick advantage.
Per On3’s Hayes Fawcett, Hart is reclassifying to 2025 and flipping to SEC school Texas A&M — somewhat of a shock as he appeared solid in his pledge to the maize and blue.

Michigan will have to look to other options in 2026 but at least it has time to do so as the 2025 class signs next week.
Additionally, the blow is certainly softened by adding Underwood, but in order not to be flat-footed, the Wolverines will need to find another option in a later class.
