Bo knows Rutgers: Florida three-star Bo Mascoe commits to the Scarlet Knights

Rutgers football lands Florida three-star Bo Mascoe.

After an official visit to Rutgers football last week, Bo Mascoe committed to the Big Ten program on Monday night.

Landing Mascoe is a nice recruiting win for Rutgers. The Florida defensive back also had offers Power Five offers from Boston College, Iowa and Iowa State. He took an official visit to Boston College prior to his trip to Rutgers last week.

Mascoe plays his high school football for Osceola (Kissimmee, FL).

A three-star recruit, the 5-foot-11 Mascoe was ranked as the No. 90 cornerback in the nation and the No. 144 player in Florida according to the 247Sports Composite.

Mascoe made his announcement on Monday evening.

 

He is now the fifth recruit from Florida in the 2023 class for Rutgers football. All five of the Florida commitments have given their verbal in June.

Last season as a junior, he had 41 total tackles. He also led his team with seven interceptions in 12 games played.
