Bills QB Josh Allen is excited to work with Stefon Diggs

Diggs will easily be the best wide receiver Allen has worked with.

The Bills went all-in this offseason, trading for wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

Diggs will easily be the best receiver that quarterback Josh Allen has had on his roster since being drafted in 2017, and rightfully so, Allen is excited and has liked what he’s seen from the former Viking this offseason.

“It was very, very awesome to see just the amount of detail that he puts into his craft, how communicative he was, how willing he was to learn. And he wasn’t there for himself,” Allen said via New York Upstate. “He was there for the betterment of the team and wanted to hang out with the guys and wanted to learn and get to know the guys and I thought that was pretty special. You hear all these crazy stories in the media and I think he’s had a bad rep where he was at.”

Buffalo’s top two receivers last season were John Brown and Cole Beasley. They are, fine, but they don’t change the game like Diggs does.

If Allen doesn’t improve in his third season, it won’t be because of lack of weapons.
