J.C. Jackson is going to be a rich man in the near future.
The New England Patriots’ top corner finished the 36-13 victory with a forced fumble and the game-sealing interception. He now has seven interceptions on the season, which is the second-most behind Trevon Diggs (8). He isn’t just a ballhawk though, he’s been a lockdown corner who has been thrown at 12 times over the past four games and has four interceptions.
Following the game, Belichick discussed Jackson’s performance and dropped the perfect analogy that has been a recurring theme for the ascending star.
“You leave any trash laying around, he’s going to pick it up.” Belichick said.
