Matt Campbell announces he will stay at Iowa State
There is no hotter name in the college coaching world right now than Matt Campbell. He led Iowa State to a Big 12 championship appearance and a Fiesta Bowl win over Oregon. The Cyclones are at the highest level they ever have been as a program.
Michigan was a potential program that could have gone after Campbell, and rumors of NFL interest circulated. However, he announced on Twitter he would be staying in Ames to continue coaching Iowa State.
So grateful for the commitment of so many to continue to want to build our program together. Our foundation has been built on Loyalty and Faithfulness and it will continue to be our guiding light. Humbled and Grateful to continue to lead to be different.

Oscar Tshiebwe jumps to Kentucky
West Virginia basketball lost one of its big pieces, forward Oscar Tshiebwe, on New Year’s Day. He averaged over 10.6 points and 8.9 rebounds in 41 career games with the Mountaineers. Now, Tshiebwe will head to Kentucky to play for John Calipari. The former five-star prospect will practice with the Wildcats this season and be eligible to play in the 2021-2022 season.
I am grateful for the time I spent at West Virginia, and the lessons that I learned. I’ve spent a lot of time praying to God to help me make the best decision for my future.
