Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase makes first-team list of players under 24

Another honor for Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is the team’s lone representative on a new list highlighting the best players in the NFL under the age of 24.

Said list comes from ESPN’s Matt Miller and Matt Bowen and says the following about Chase:

Chase is the ideal NFL wide receiver in terms of traits, speed, toughness, sure hands and crisp route running. His 75 catches, 889 receiving yards and six touchdown receptions are all top-10 numbers this season. The 2021 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and second-team All-Pro might be just 6-foot and 201 pounds, but he’s a true go-to receiver with game-changing talents.

Chris Olave of the Saints and Garrett Wilson of the Jets join Chase as the first-team wideouts on the list.

As always, it’s a little wild to step back and think about all that Chase has accomplished in the league so far, as this year is still only his age-23 season. So far, there’s no reason to think he slows down anytime soon, too.
