They say actions speak louder than words and that may end up being the case for the Cincinnati Bengals coming out of Friday’s Oregon pro day.
There, Penei Sewell put on a show as expected, measuring at 6’4″ and 331 pounds with a 28-inch vertical jump and 30 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press.
Cincinnati made sure to send some key names to the event for a prospect who might just be the favorite to be the draft’s fifth pick.
As captured by onlookers there, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor, offensive line coach Frank Pollack and director of player personnel Duke Tobin were in attendance:

Taylor had previously attended Florida’s pro day. Pollack went to USC’s pro day to work with a notable lineman and Tobin was at LSU’s pro day for wideout Ja’Marr Chase.
The trio linked up at Oregon, which says quite a bit. The schedule might have simply aligned properly, but fans can read plenty into this development.
