Ben Simmons enjoying Matisse Thybulle’s ‘historic’ bubble vlogs

Philadelphia 76ers guard Ben Simmons is getting a kick out of Matisse Thybulle’s vlogs.

The entire NBA is undergoing a potentially historic event as they get set to resume the 2019-20 season inside the bubble at Disney World in Orlando. The Philadelphia 76ers are one of the 22 teams to partake in this effort to resume the season and this is something that should be documented.

That’s where Sixers rookie Matisse Thybulle comes in. The talented defensive stopper brought his camera with him and he’s putting his editing skills to good use. He created his own YouTube channel once the team got to the hotel and he has been making “life in the bubble” vlogs for everyone to get a peek into what life is like in the NBA.

The vlogs have been taking fans inside the team plane to Orlando, life in the bubble, an inside look at practice, and other off the court antics. He is having a lot of fun with it and Ben Simmons is happy to see him doing what he loves.

“He didn’t get clearance to put anything about me so I’m going to have to speak to him if he makes any money off of it,” Simmons started with a laugh. “I love that he’s capturing this moment. It’s a historic moment for sports in general so what I think he’s been doing is great.”

Thybulle has shown off his skills with a camera before as he got heavily into the social media app TikTok during the quarantine period and now he has taken his talents to another level with YouTube.

“I think everybody has their little vice and what they do in their free time and that’s definitely his,” Simmons said. “He’s a creative person. He’s just great to have around. Especially somebody so young and talented in his editing and TikTok ways, it’s good to have him around.”

Thybulle had better save the content that he is recording. That will come in handy in any future documentaries that will be made on the Orlando bubble. [lawrence-related id=34662,34653,34631]
