Baltimore Ravens at New York Giants odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Baltimore Ravens at New York Giants odds and lines, with expert NFL picks, predictions and best bets.

The New York Giants (4-1) host the Baltimore Ravens (3-2) at MetLife Stadium Sunday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET (CBS). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook‘s lines around the Ravens vs. Giants odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Ravens come into this game after a 19-17 Sunday night win over the Cincinnati Bengals, converting on a field goal as time expired for their 3rd win. They’ve also beaten the New England Patriots and New York Jets while losing to the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills. Baltimore sits 4th in the NFL in points per game (27.4). QB Lamar Jackson ranks 10th in the NFL in rushing yards.

The Giants took down the Green Bay Packers 27-22 last weekend in London. RB Saquon Barkley has returned to his old self this season, sitting 2nd with 553 rushing yards.

New York lost to Dallas 23-16 and is just 2-1 at home this season, having taken down the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears at MetLife. The Giants sit tied with the Cowboys for 2nd in the NFC East.

Ravens at Giants picks and predictions

Prediction

Ravens 27, Giants 20

Moneyline

PASS.

The Giants haven’t played well at home, and the Ravens are surging. I’d pass on the moneyline play here.

Against the spread

BET RAVENS -5.5 (-112).

The Ravens are playing well and on the rise. What they do best, run the ball, is also a weakness for the Giants. They sit 25th in opponents rushing yards per game and 27th in opponents rushing yards per carry.

New York did beat Green Bay, but their other opponents, especially at home, haven’t proven they’re playoff-caliber organizations.

While Baltimore hasn’t played that well defensively, they do have a secondary that’s considered among the most talented in the NFL. The Giants are down multiple key receiving weapons as well.

Jackson should be able to dice up the Giants defense while the Giants struggle to consistently move the ball on a solid secondary.

Over/Under

LEAN OVER  45.5 (-112).

Both teams are run-heavy sides, and while Baltimore has talent in its defense, it hasn’t been good at stopping the run which could make life easier for Barkley. Both teams are 2-3 O/U this season.

There is firepower taking the field with Jackson and Barkley while both teams have struggling run defenses. Considering that, I’ll back the OVER 45.5 (-112).
