If you were a Denver Nugget or a fan of the franchise during Game 5 of the team’s win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night, you probably had the same reaction Austin Rivers had when Damian Lillard occasionally missed a shot during a record-breaking contest.
Dame, in case you missed it, had 55 points (with 12 threes!), 10 dimes, six rebounds and three blocks, a masterful performance in what turned out to be a Blazers loss.
And when Lillard missed one late in the game, cameras captured Rivers literally thanking God that the Blazers guard didn’t hit yet another one from distance. It’s so good:

Rivers also took to Instagram to reply to an post from Complex Sports, which is NSFW, so we’ll quote it here:
“Bro … he was not missing for [expletive]. 1 [hand] in his face, 2 hands in his face. Lol I’m like wtf is this. Banking threes and [expletive]. In all seriousness it’s really fun to guard him. He’s as tough as they come. No lie.”
Yep. That sums it up too.
