Arkansas women roll InCroatia All-Stars in first game overseas

Winning a basketball game by 112 points is impressive, no matter who it’s against.

The first results are in, and they’re pretty good.

Arkansas’ women’s basketball team is on its European tour, and Monday’s first game went well. Like really well.

The ladies led 43-1 after a quarter, 70-7 at halftime, 101-12 after three quarters and then outscored their opponent, InCroatia, 23-0 in the final stanza.

Freshman Jenna Lawrence had 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals at halftime, while Sasha Goforth, who is back this year after sitting out 2022-23, had five points, four rebounds, three assists and three blocks in the first half.

They will be back in action Wednesday against ŽKK Budućnost Podgorica and then will trek to Greece and play University of Regina on Sunday in Athens.
