[autotag]Paulo Costa[/autotag]’s got a problem with [autotag]Anthony Johnson[/autotag].
On a recent episode of the “Real Quick with Mike Swick” podcast, Johnson spoke about UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya’s impressive second-round finish of Costa last month at UFC 253. “Rumble” also weighed in on Adesanya’s vulgar post-fight celebration, more specifically being critical of Costa’s reaction to it and his demand for a rematch after such a poor performance.
“I don’t understand all of a sudden either why Costa is getting so upset after he saw what ‘Stylebender’ did to him, you know?” Johnson said, as transcribed by BJPenn.com.”I was like, ‘Dude, you were the one talking so much and then he gets you at the end, and now you mad? Because he embarrassed you?’ C’mon, man, grow some balls. Man up to that. It is what it is. You can’t demand a rematch after a performance like that, either. That’s not smart. That’s not gonna sell for sure.”
It appears Costa heard about those comments. On Wednesday, he had a response on Twitter:
Anthony rumble Johnson shut up moron you even don’t know which weight class you should fight.
“Rumble” didn’t let that go without firing back:

Johnson (22-6 MMA, 13-6 UFC), 36, is gearing for a return to the UFC after retiring from MMA in April 2017. He’s announced his intention to compete at light heavyweight. Unless Costa (13-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) decides to move up to 205 pounds, it’s unlikely these two would get the chance to settle things in the octagon.
