Announcers set for Bears vs. Chiefs Week 3 game

The Bears will face the Chiefs in Week 3. See who will be calling the game on FOX:

The Chicago Bears are back on the road as they battle the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3 of the 2023 NFL season, where Chicago is looking to avoid an 0-3 start.

The Bears’ Week 3 game will air on FOX at 3:25 p.m. CT. The television commentators for the game are Kevin Burkhardt (play-by-play), Greg Olsen (analyst), Erin Andrews (sideline) and Tom Rinaldi (sideline).

Chicago is coming off another demoralizing defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 27-17, which marked their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. Concerns remain about the offense, defense and coaching staff ahead of their most difficult game to date this season.

Meanwhile, Kansas City is coming off their first win of the season, a 17-9 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Chiefs got back a couple of key players in tight end Travis Kelce (knee) and defensive lineman Chris Jones (contract), who were contributors in the win.

The Bears face a tall order against a talented Chiefs team that boasts arguably the best quarterback in the NFL in Patrick Mahomes. It’ll also be a homecoming for Bears general manager Ryan Poles, who worked in Kansas City. Not to mention, former Chicago coach Matt Nagy is back calling plays for the Chiefs.

While Kansas City hasn’t looked like a powerhouse through two games — they haven’t scored more than 20 points in a game this season — this could be the get-right game they’ve been waiting for.
