Alabama WR Jameson Williams leaves national title game with injury

Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams appeared to suffer a knee injury in Monday night’s national title game

Alabama was already missing one of their top pass-catchers for Monday night’s national title game against Georgia, and they may have just lost another one.

Jameson Williams left the game early in the second quarter with what appeared to be a knee injury, and had to be helped off the field.

Williams spent some time in the medical tent before walking to the locker room under his own power.

John Metchie III suffered a season-ending knee injury in Alabama’s win over Georgia in the SEC title game, and it looks like they may have to finish this championship battle without Williams, who is one of the top receiver prospects in the 2022 NFL draft class.
