Alabama softball drops to No. 9 in rankings after opening weekend

after going 1-3 in opening weekend in Tallahassee, Florida, Alabama dropped to No. 9 in the newest NCAA softball rankings. 

Going into opening weekend, the Alabama Crimson Tide softball team was the No. 1 team in the country, but after going 1-3 in opening weekend in Tallahassee, Florida with two losses to Florida State and going 1-1 against North Carolina, Alabama dropped to No. 9 in the newest NCAA softball rankings.

But don’t give up on them yet. Even after a rough weekend, the Crimson Tide found out AMAZING news:

Alabama returns to Florida this weekend for the St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational on Feb. 13-15. There, the Tide will play five games against Liberty, Washington, USF, UCLA and Oklahoma State.
