Nick Saban has built a dynasty in Tuscaloosa that is likely to never be duplicated. Since arriving at Alabama in 2007, Saban has won six national championships and has had his team playing for a handful more. It is almost unbelievable what the 70-year old ball coach has achieved in his time with the Tide.
Of course, championships can’t be won if you don’t have talented players competing between the white lines. Nobody has collected more talent than Saban has over the past several years. In fact, it isn’t even close.
During coverage of Alabama’s pro day, the SEC Network released a graphic displaying how many players from the Tide have been selected in the first round of the NFL draft since 2008. The numbers are staggering.

The graphic shows that Alabama’s 39 selections are 17 more first-round selections than the next closest team in Ohio State. LSU and Florida are the two teams from the SEC that are closest to the Tide.
Even at the age of 70, Saban has shown zero signs of slowing down.
